Haunted Auctions and the Witches of eBay
You will either think this is the biggest hoot going on eBay, or be totally disgusted by it.
Most of us were read fairy tales when we were kids. Remember Aladdin's magic lamp? Jack's beans? Frosty's hat? How about Dorothy's ruby slippers or Gollum's Precious? Harry Potter's...whatever Harry Potter has?
OK, think for a minute. What would you pay for a magic ring? How about a box containing a wish granting genii? Did you know those things can be found on eBay? Well, they can. And many sell for hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars.
Don't believe me? Just click your heels together three times then CLICK HERE to see for yourself.
Read some of the description if you have the time. They can be quite long and give the detailed genealogies of the witches and warlocks who supposedly once owned these baubles.
The level of creativity and gall boggles the ol' gray matter. These sellers have eBalls!. And the bidders eat it up. From a marketing perspective this is 99% sizzle and 1% steak.
The photos of the items are my favorite part! Mists swirl and flames dance around these powerful objects. Blessed Be PhotoShop!
This seller seems to be the most successful at the game, and is certainly among the most creative. She has even formed a dealers' association: the United Association of Metaphysical Dealers (UAMD). Never hurts to have some initials next to your name! Here are items currently being offered by UAMD members.
Is this is scam? My first reaction was, 'Hell, yes, it's a scam'. But while writing this my view has softened. Maybe it's a new form of entertainment. Mystery. Wonder. Escapism. And judging from the glowing feedback these sellers receive, the placebo effect is strong as Kong.
I can see the ghost of Barnum winking at us. This way to the Egress!

hello. i,m truely surprised that there arnt any other comments! i found your page very interesting, though a bit sarcastic. i had no idea aa books and fast food mugs sold so well. whats next? haunted aa books and mugs! i do think that yes alot of scams get sold on ebay, but not all are scams, and not all sellers of magical items are scammers. i do list haunted items,i am a psychic and do sell fairy items. i have never used photo shop or anything toalter the pictures i use,and the things that show up when i list an item and take pictures of an item show up on tons of pictures i take of family, and pets, and anything eles i take pictures of. i have always had the gifts i have, i have always been different,i know for a fact that there are ghosts, and fey and tons of things we cant explain, or want want to admit to seeing, or hearing, but just as people believe in God,(by whatever name you give him) the Holy Ghost,Saints,Mary, ect. these are things we dont see, yet we have these beliefs right? yes some dont believe, but to say yes, i believe in An unseen all mighty being, but fairies arnt true, ghosts arnt real, is in denial. yes, magic is a big seller, not just on ebay, but in book stores, movies,tv,web sites,history,ect.. sincerely yours, a true believer.
Hello! I Am Also Surprised No Other Comments Have Been Posted about the Paranormal Or haunted Article. I as well sell enchanted and blessed items on and off Ebay, Most of the ones I sell and recieve are threw personal friends or conventions, but I for one will Say with a strong voice Is Yes, They are for real and Yes, They do bring many Blessings into your life and to the life of your loved ones, Magick is for real, so are faeries and Jinn and yes, sometimes they do go for high prices and some go for very low prices and Yes, some are scams, and yes, Its hard to tell who is selling the good and who is Not, but one thing you can look for are the ones who answer your questions and offer free advice and help and usually the ones who are determined to talk about who is fake and do what they can to promote thier items while stepping on others in the process is a sure sign they are not selling treasures but selling a scam. Google is the haunted buyers best friend, google before you buy, I have seen many times over a sellers description word for word on articles from a google search.
Blessings,
enchanted_aries
